Summer Associate Program
For an average of eleven weeks each summer, first- and second-year law students from schools throughout the country experience the practice of law at Lowenstein Sandler through our summer program.
Our summer associates take on key assignments from lawyers in a wide range of practice areas, including specialties in which each student has expressed a particular interest. Frequent client contact and opportunities to participate in legal work outside the office—meetings, negotiation sessions, closings, deals, depositions, hearings, and trials—enhance the summer experience.
In addition, the firm conducts educational seminars and workshops, including practice area luncheons with the firm’s attorneys. Each student is assigned a mentor for guidance, fostering meaningful professional relationships.
Social events and outings help summer associates forge close ties with colleagues throughout the firm, underscoring the open atmosphere and sense of community that characterize Lowenstein Sandler. Our summer program is the perfect balance between structure and flexibility, in-depth legal work and good fun.
