Summer Associates Overview

For an average of 11 weeks each summer, first- and second-year law students from schools throughout the country experience the practice of law at Lowenstein Sandler through our summer program. When you join Lowenstein Sandler as a law student, you will use some of the essential skills you are honing in law school—analytical thinking, critical writing and legal research. The summer programs offer educational seminars, mentoring, enjoyable social events and, most significantly, participation in complex matters in the legal areas in which you have expressed interest. Our summer program is the perfect balance between structure and flexibility, in-depth legal work and good fun.
